The last time I went on a “proper holiday” was 2015. Jon and I took the one year old Rose to Spain for two weeks. We did sunshine, we did karaoke, we did more food than I can comprehend. I LOVE the beach. I love the sand between my toes, the sound of the ocean, and the smell of the salt air.

I also love packing for a holiday. While half my suitcase always used to be books, with the arrival of ebooks I’m able to take twice as many books and twice as many clothes but with the same suitcase space! So, this got me thinking about beach fashion.

While I’m naturally a sceptic in many ways, I’ve always had something of a soft spot for the idea of the zodiac. Jon’s often commented that my Scorpio nature is quite strong and, while a lot of me rejects such ideas, he’s really not wrong…
