On the JJ Barnes Blog, I check out research into which are the UK’s most popular celebrity perfumes on my hunt for a new scent.

A big life change means finding fresh starts. And a fresh start means change. While change is scary, and I’m not ready for many of serious the changes I’m facing, finding something new to enjoy seems like a good place to start.

I’m not ready to cut all my hair off, and I can’t afford a new wardrobe, but a new perfume is feasible! So, to help me work out what scent I might like to try, the experts at Parfumery, a company that specializes in perfume samples, sent over Google search data to show me the UK’s most popular celebrity perfumes, based on how many searches they received in an average month over the past year.

Most Popular Celebrity Perfumes

Ariana Grande

According to the data, Ariana Grande has taken over the perfume industry for celebrities and is proving to be the most popular. There are an average of 27,204 monthly searches for all of Ariana Grande’s perfumes, with her most popular scent, Cloud Intense, receiving 18,883 monthly searches.

Beyoncé

Beyoncé is the UK’s second most loved celebrity perfume, getting a normal of 4,495 inquiries each month. Beyoncé Heat Kissed is the most searched-for Beyoncé fragrance in the UK, with 4,041 searches per month.

Rihanna

Rihanna is the third most popular celebrity fragrance, with 2,200 searches each month in the UK. Rihanna’s most famous aroma is Fenty Parfum which gets 1,215 quests each month. Rouge Love, Crush, and Kiss are some of Rihanna’s other well-known perfumes.

Jennifer Lopez

The UK’s fourth most popular celebrity is Jennifer Lopez, whose fragrances get a normal of 1,800 ventures each month. One, Jennifer Lopez’s most popular perfume, is searched for 453 times per month in the UK.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry is the fifth most popular celebrity, with an average of 1,241 monthly searches for her perfumes. Katy Perry has created different fragrances throughout the course of recent years, her most well known being Indi Visible which gets a normal of 617 searches each month in the UK.

Nicki Minaj

With an average of 1,186 monthly searches for all of Nicki Minaj’s perfumes, she ranks sixth among the most popular celebrities in the UK to produce perfumes. Onika, Nicki Minaj’s most popular fragrance, is searched for 615 times per month in the UK.

Celebrity Perfumes

A specialist from Parfumery explained that fragrances are one of the most connective and trendy ways to connect with fans worldwide. Celebrities with large fan bases, like Beyonce and Ariana Grande, are extremely popular for releasing merchandise and figuring out the best ways to do so.

Celebrity perfume sales in the United Kingdom seem to have skyrocketed since the middle of the 1990’s. Since scent is such a personal and intimate part of our lives, many people can be picky about the fragrances they buy. This is another reason why Brits might be more likely to buy one that is worn by one of their favorite celebrities.

Conclusion

I love Ariana’s cloud bottle, it appeals to me a lot, so I reckon I’ll be giving that a sniff!
